–Namco Classic Collection Vol. 2 (Also has the original Pac-Man & the unique Pac-Man Arrangement)
–Pac-Man Battle Royale Tournament Edition (special version of the software that was never widely released)

That’s six different ways to enjoy the game and the best part is that all of them except for Battle Royale are only 25¢ to play – just like they were 45 years ago! Good luck at finding anything else that’s the same price as it was almost half a century ago. Battle Royale is only 50¢ per person, so that won’t break your bank either. It’s also worth checking out the Arrangement game found on Namco Classic Collection Vol. 2, as that is a hidden gem that plays really well, but few people know about it.

Also to mark the day, we did a little bit of re-arranging on our Namco game cabs. Now, all three are snuggled up against each other, and one of our banners was moved. It’s hard to miss all of this classic, dot-eating goodness now:

Arcade Galactic Unveils Groundbreaking Stargate Installation, Connecting Utah to Global Arcade Network

Arcade Galactic, the beloved retro and modern gaming haven located at Valley Fair Mall in West Valley City, Utah, proudly announces a monumental leap forward in arcade entertainment. After years of secretive collaboration with top engineers and rumored consultations with undisclosed government agencies, the arcade has successfully installed a fully operational Stargate—yes, the Stargate, as seen in the iconic television series Stargate SG-1. This unprecedented achievement marks Arcade Galactic as the first entertainment venue in the world to bridge physical gaming spaces across the globe through interdimensional travel.

The Stargate, standing an impressive 22 feet in diameter and adorned with authentic glyphs, was unveiled to a select group of press and local dignitaries earlier today. According to Arcade Galactic owner Adam Pratt, the installation represents a “quantum evolution” for the arcade industry. “For over 16 years, we’ve brought cutting-edge and classic gaming to Utah,” Pratt stated. “Now, with the Stargate, we’re not just preserving arcade culture—we’re connecting it across continents in real time. Step through, and you could be playing Dariusburst Another Chronicle in Tokyo or Pac-Man Battle Royale in Miami within seconds.”

The Stargate operates using a proprietary dialing system, which Pratt claims was reverse-engineered from “highly classified schematics” obtained through undisclosed channels. Players can now use Arcade Galactic’s signature tokens to activate the gate, selecting from a network of partnered arcades worldwide. Confirmed connections include Arcade Odyssey in Miami, Florida; GameOn! in Auckland, New Zealand; and a yet-to-be-named venue in Japan rumored to house rare exA-Arcadia systems. Each destination offers exclusive games and experiences, instantly accessible via the Stargate’s wormhole technology.

“We’ve always prided ourselves on offering rarities like The Act and Deathstalker that you can’t find anywhere else,” said Pratt. “Now, our patrons can compete head-to-head with gamers across the planet—or team up for co-op missions—without ever needing to book a flight or travel for 22 hours. This instant travel tech makes for the ultimate multiplayer experience.”

The installation has not been without challenges. Reports of minor seismic activity near Valley Fair Mall during initial tests have been dismissed by Arcade Galactic staff as “residual harmonic vibrations” from the gate’s activation sequence. Additionally, the arcade has implemented strict safety protocols, including a mandatory briefing on “off-world etiquette” and a ban on bringing back alien artifacts. “We’re not saying there’s a risk of Goa’uld invasion,” Pratt added with a wry smile, “but we’re prepared for anything.”

Arcade Galactic invites the public to experience this historic milestone starting today, April 1, 2025, during regular hours (Monday-Friday 11 AM–8 PM, Saturday 10 AM–9 PM, Sunday Noon–6 PM). Entry through the Stargate requires a special 10,000-token “gate pass,” available at the front counter. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, as demand is expected to skyrocket.
